Tanzania Rap star turned MP has mansion demolished by government

The demolished home of Prof. Jay

The Tanzanian Government has demolished a house belonging to Mikumi Member of Parliament Professor Jay also known as Joseph Haule in the ongoing road reserve.
According to the legislator, his house was brought down by graders while he was attending to his legislative duties.

The rapper-turned-politician has termed the demolitions as unlawful because he was not informed before the incident happened.

“They came at 6 pm and started demolishing the house without informing me and I find this unlawful. “I have never suffered such a loss,” said professor Jay.

He added that he has never suffered such a huge loss in his life and he is going to follow up the matter and ensure justice is served to all who lost their properties in the demolitions.

Said Professor Jay in an Instagram Post.
