A gunman has reportedly opened fire at a country music festival being held in the Las Vegas near the Mandalay Bay Casino in the United States.

According to photos circulating on social media, hundreds of people were seen fleeing from the scene.

Heavy armed policemen are said to have taken over the Las Vegas strip.

Citing a hospital source, CNN reports that multiple people are being treated for gunshot wounds.
